company competent in the installation of Fire Penetration Systems.
Fire Penetration Systems is a fundamental requirement of fire safety
in buildings and prevents the spread of fire and smoke and is also vital in maintaining
compartmentation.
Fire Penetration Systems should only be carried out by a FIRAS
certified company. This will ensure that the installer is competent in every
aspect of the task and will be adequately supervised by FIRAS, using the correct
materials, products and methods stipulated within their tested and approved scope.
All projects and contracts undertaken by a FIRAS certified company must have an
audit trail of accurate and complete records. FIRAS must be informed of every
installation to enable random inspections to be carried out.
A Certificate of Conformity will be issued by AL Fire Systemson completion of any works carried out.
