FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS - A L Firesystems

Broadly speaking fire alarm systems comprise three parts:
Input devices such as Detectors and Manual Alarm Call Points
Output Devices such as Bells and Sounders
Control and indication equipment
Input Devices include Smoke Detectors and Manual
Alarm Call Points and are used to trigger an alarm.
Output Devices include Bells and Sounders and are used to sound
the alarm. This may include flashing lights and relays to signal other systems.
Control and indication equipment is the heart the system. They
display any alarms and the system status, monitor the system for faults and have
controls to silence and reset the system.
