FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS - A L Fire Systems
Dry & Wet Riser are meant for the use of the fire brigade
in case of a fire.
A "Dry Riser" is a system of pipe work and valves that enables
water to be delivered for fire fighting purposes to all floors
in buildings over 18 metres high.
It consists of a vertical pipe with landing valves fitted inside cabinets on each
floor that provides outlets, enabling the fire service to connect
into the water supply.
