DRY RISER SYSTEMS - A L Fire Systems
Dry Riser Mains are intended for the use by the FIRE BRIGADE
or other trained personnel and provide a readily available means of delivering considerable
quantities of water to extinguish or to prevent the spread of fire.
Dry Risers comprise vertical mains, which are fitted into staircase
enclosures or other suitable positions with outlets fitted at ground level to enable
the Fire Brigade to connect into the water supply.
Before installation of Dry Riser Systems, the local Fire Brigade
must be consulted to ascertain their exact requirements.
